Description
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Case Interview Mastery teaches you how to pass the case interview to land a job in strategy consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain), at a competitive corporate, or in finance (e.g., private equity). Case interviews are the “weapon of choice” for many of the most prestigious jobs.

We are two former McKinsey consultants who know how it feels to be the candidate. However, we also sat on the other side of the table as McKinsey interviewers. And we are still using the case interview in our current corporate leadership roles because it is the perfect way to test a candidate’s capabilities.

This course is structured into two main sections:

1) Case Interview – The Basics

In this section we share the essentials on how to approach a case interview – among others

• How a case interview is structured

• Which skills are required and how to train them

• How cases are evaluated (we even share the McKinsey evaluation scheme)

• What habits you need to establish to impress the interviewer

2) 7 McKinsey style cases

We share 7 cases that are as close as it gets to real McKinsey interview cases in terms of difficulty, length, and question types. Each case comes in 3 forms:

• Do it yourself
As the name suggests, this is your time to shine. You can tackle the case yourself and test your skills.

• Sample solution
The case is solved by a very strong candidate and you follow along. This helps you better understand how a top candidate really aces the case.

• Feedback solution
The feedback solution is identical to the sample solution, BUT we pause the case continously and share why the candidate is approaching the case a certain way. Moreover, you can listen to the thought processes of the candidate and follow his/her line of thought. Finally, we also share shortcuts and insider tips, which will really take your case skills to the next level.

The course works for all experience levels. Beginners get to learn all the basics necessary to start solving cases, while experienced students will still find content to fine-tune their understanding. And of course, the 7 cases provided in this course will form a perfect foundation for your case practice and preparation journey.
