Welcome to the Discovery of Mathematics. In this course you will see how Mathematics can be creative and how it can be approached through finding similarities between things of everyday life. This course is also a good introduction for my other courses such as Introduction to Pre-Algebra.

In this course you will learn about the origins of Mathematics. You will see how it contributes to everyday situations in life. In this course we will take a look at when Mathematics was discovered and which countries contributed to its development. We will also take a quick look at famous Mathematicians, how their Math theories have started and how they developed it into a system that we can use today.

The following topics will be discussed in this course: The Discovery of Mathematics, The Origins of Mathematics, The Greek Mathematicians, The Roman Number System and Mathematicians, The Number System that we use today, Part two of the Number System, Fractions and how they are used in different Mathematic Equations, The First Steps of Algebra and Algebraic Equations.

When doing this course you will need to have a notebook and stationary.

This course can be used as guide with your school work, studies and even used for supplementing your learning. It will also show you that in all the other learning areas that Mathematics can be applied to it and that it can actually improve your brain development.

The course is ideal for learners who want to improve their grades. It can also help students to recap on specific Math concepts. This course is also a good overview for teachers who want to go through basic concepts of equations. They can also use it for the exercises for supplementing their resources and doing quizzes with their learners. This course is ideal for parents who want to support their children’s studies and school work.

As a teacher, I teach my learners that academics is a good thing, but it will mean nothing if you do not put the effort and time into understanding it. That is why I first give and overview of how important Mathematics is and if they understand it, then they will be able to discover the hidden secrets of Math and be able to enjoy it.

After completing this course you will be able to apply your knowledge to different activities and the subjects you do in school. You can also use the resources to improve your skills in your studies.
