Heat Transfer, together with Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, constitutes the classical trinity of the Mechanical Engineering discipline. These three subjects form the backbone of engineering analysis related to energy, mass, and momentum transfer. Heat Transfer is a core and compulsory subject in the curricula of almost all engineering institutes and universities, as it plays a vital role in the design and analysis of a wide range of thermal systems encountered in practice.
