Description
Audio Engineering is largely dependent on physics, to be specific Audio physics, which requires studying and learning formulas, laws and calculations guiding connecting these equipments.

Sadly, So many technicians or volunteers in houses of worship did a lot of trial and error which led to wrong connections of speakers with amplifiers which led to damaging a lot of equipment or even labelling some speaker or amplifier products as bad because we didn’t use them the right way.

There is also the place of some manufacturers stating the Peak power rating of their amplifiers or speakers as the continuous power rating for the sake of marketing making users think that the equipment can produce more power than it can to sell more.

In this course you learn how to properly match speakers and amplifiers to get clean and clear sound while ensuring that you don’t blow up any component of your speakers or damage your amplifiers by overloading them which will make them last longer.

You will also learn how to match one or more speakers with amplifiers while calculating the power (watts) and the impedance(ohms). You will be taught the following topics

• Speaker Impedance

• Nominal Impedance

• Parallel connection of speakers

• Series connection of speakers

• Calculations of total impedance of speakers in Parallel

• Calculations of total impedance of speakers in Series
