Description
This course covers Unit 1 of Pre-Calculus 12 (Alberta Math 30-1): Transformations and Functions — the most important foundation for success in advanced algebra and calculus.

Students will develop a deep understanding of function notation, domain and range, and how to analyze and interpret graphs with confidence. You’ll learn how to apply and combine transformations — vertical and horizontal shifts, reflections, stretches, and compressions — to build complex functions from simple parent graphs.

We go beyond memorization. You’ll understand why transformations behave the way they do, including the subtle but crucial differences between inside and outside changes to a function.
